STATIC-X FORCED TO CANCEL CURRENT EUROPEAN TOUR

After exhausting all options over the past week, STATIC-X has been forced to cancel the remaining dates on their European tour due to transportation issues.

Their tour bus broke down and was unable to be fixed in a timely manner. Due to the busy summer touring schedule in Europe, STATIC-X has been unable to find a replacement bus to finish out the tour.

TOUR UPDATE FROM WAYNE STATIC

I want to thank everyone who's been coming out to the shows to support us. Almost every show has been sold out so far and we're having a lot of fun out here as usual. Nick has stayed on tour with us despite his broken hand so he can participate in band appearances and signings. Will Hunt has done a great job hitting the drums for the past ten days, but he has prior commitments with Dark New Day and Vince Neil, so Orlando was his last show. Next up on the drums is Bevan Davies. He's played with Jerry Cantrel, Danzig, and Comes With The Fall, and will stay out with us for the next few weeks until Nick has fully recovered.

For those who can't make it out to see us this time around, don't
worry. We're working on Summer tour plans and I hope to make an
announcement about that very soon.

A Message from Wayne

Some good and some not so good news to share with everyone. First the good. We had a great first week with "Cannibal," the album debuted at #36 on Billboard and our shows have been some of the best I can remember. There's nothing like getting back on the road, seeing our friends and getting a chance to share the new songs with you.

The not so good news is that after our Abilene show, Nick broke his hand and we've been forced to cancel tonight's show in Dallas. We promise we'll come back through as soon as we can. Nick is doing ok, although he's more than a little bummed that he's going to have to take a break from the tour. We are flying in a temporary drummer and the plan is to be up to speed by Houston on Friday with Nick re-joining the tour as soon as his cast comes off.
